Recently, four types of high-speed railway specialized valves developed by the 695 Factory of Henan Aerospace Industry Corporation of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation successfully passed the audit of Beijing Saide High tech Railway Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. with a high score of 97.3. At this point, the technical level of the electromagnetic valves, pressure reducing valves and other products developed by the factory for high-speed trains has reached the level of similar foreign products.
As the only military enterprise of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation specializing in valve production, 695 Factory relies on its core technological advantages in process and design formed by more than 20 years of engaging in aerospace specific valves, and strives to build a professional and highly skilled R&D team with strong business capabilities.
On the basis of independent innovation, the factory continuously introduces, digests, and absorbs advanced foreign technologies, making breakthroughs in design, process, raw materials, production, manufacturing, testing, experimentation, and after-sales service development, and taking a crucial step on the road to localization of high-speed train dedicated valves.
Alternative import high-speed rail trial
The solenoid valve is the pilot valve of the high-speed train power control system, which serves the purpose of controlling the circuit.
695 Factory was inspired by the troubleshooting and repair of electromagnetic valve products produced by Alstom in France, which were installed on domestic high-speed trains, and saw the market prospects of this product. In January 2010, the factory established a high-speed train dedicated valve project team and began researching and developing four types of high-speed railway dedicated valves, including one solenoid valve, two electromagnets, and one regulator.
Based on the high attention of the factory leadership and in-depth research on the domestic and international development status by the New Product Committee, combined with the actual needs of domestic users, the project team boldly proposed to take the route of "original innovation of core technology, integrated innovation, and large-scale promotion" to carry out project research and development and prototype production.
During the development process, the project team developed a targeted plan based on the list of documents submitted for potential supplier qualification review, supplier grading evaluation form, and supplier evaluation survey form. They conducted two detailed internal reviews of the factory's resource allocation and quality management system operation, carefully rectified any non conformities found, and submitted the products to the locomotive and vehicle inspection station of the Product Quality Supervision and Testing Center of the Ministry of Railways for identification testing before the two party review.
The appraisal results indicate that the product performance meets the requirements of the technical agreement and can replace imported products. At present, the customer has agreed to test the products that have been approved for loading.
There are many innovative points in the new solenoid valve
The solenoid valve developed by 695 Factory for high-speed trains is the factory's first snap on structure, two position three-way solenoid valve, with many technological innovations.
In terms of technology, the traditional process of hot pressing fluoroplastic on metal seat cushions for imported products has been changed, and rubber materials have been used for sealing, completely eliminating the leakage range of imported products in terms of sealing performance; Improvements have been made to the structure of the main and auxiliary valves, reducing response time and increasing the response speed of the solenoid valve.
In addition, the project team has independently added a working air gap to the new solenoid valve based on their previous experience in repairing faults in the solenoid valve products produced by Alstom, a French company, installed on domestic high-speed trains. In this way, in response to the adjustment requirements for response time, the solenoid valve no longer needs to be sent to the place of origin for repair. It only needs to adjust the working air gap on the locomotive, which not only saves time but also greatly reduces the cost of repair.
In terms of appearance, the project team has also made improvements to increase the product's visibility.
At present, the electromagnetic valves, pressure reducing valves and other products developed by 695 Factory for high-speed trains have the potential to replace imported products. At the same time, the research, production, manufacturing and testing capabilities of valves for high-speed trains have also been tested and verified.
This series of technical reserves and work preparations have given the factory full confidence in becoming a domestic supplier to replace high-speed rail valve import enterprises in the next step.
